Mission Mission

He says he’s been skating the streets of the Mission every night for the last seven years, although this is the first time that I’ve ever seen him.  Nonetheless, he’s definitely on to something, just like those rollerblade soccer players that you sometimes see at Sunday Streets (or in North Beach).

He told me to go long for a hail mary, but after I had sprinted half a block in a perfect deep route, he pulled a Michael Vick and just tucked the ball for a quarterback sneak.  Hopefully he managed to avoid being sacked by the Muni bus in hot pursuit.

The Dolores part isn’t particularly epic, but the video is kind of charming. Might take you back to when you made your own homemade skate videos:

After all that hot debate about skitchin’ earlier this week, this scene was a pleasant surprise. But, is it true skitchin’ or ain’t it?

i used to work for the SF Giants in the marketing dept. from 05-08, a time when the giants sucked and employee morale about the team was really low. and now that i’ve left, the giants are world champs!… anyway, my colleague torin made this incredible parade video using the canon 7d.
