Looking for a new bike and a new burrito all in one easy transaction? Well, look no further Missionites, cause we’ve got a deal for you, freshly (hopefully) posted on craigslist -

“This is a most excellent electric blue vintage ladies Schwinn road bike. La bicicleta is ready to ride and is in mucho bueno condition (actually it’s in perfect condition but I don’t know the word for perfect in Spanish) The frame is sized for for a gal (or guy) 5’5” to 5’9”. The price is firm at $185. Also, the bicycle comes with a free burrito. Hooray!”

New drop off time added for 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. on Monday, 12/31, at 1050 South Van Ness Ave.

You can still drop off donations tonight … (yes, New Year’s Eve, 12/31/12) between 8pm-10pm also at 1050 South Van Ness.

On 1/2/13 or later, you can bring donations to 938 Valencia St. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

As I said earlier, the Dolores Shelter Program will make arrangements to get these donations to the affected people as soon as possible.

Everybody’s favorite queercore band, Limp Wrist, is playing two shows tonight in the Mission! The all ages show starts at 4PM at SUB-mission and the 21+ show starts at 9PM at El Rio (doors at 8!).  A not very reliable source also told me that Los Crudos might be making an appearance, but uhhh that’s not reliable information.

Update: Midnight Brain is not playing the El Rio show. Bummer. According to the Facebook invite, Permanent Ruin will be playing instead! (Thanks mentalbeat!)

One of the best shows I’ve ever seen was Limp Wrist at SUB-mission about four years ago. I climbed up on some crates behind the band and could see down the drummer’s underwear and gaze upon the bear pit. I hope tonight is just as amazing.  We are livid!
