From our Facebook page, we received a tip of a brand new combo offering in the neighborhood. Colleen O’Rourke says “A new local character has stepped onto The Mission stage”.

Did you make it to the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend? If not, you missed out on all things bird, wolf, owl, tentacle, Native American, artisan, laser cut, geometric, and mustachioed — as well as these tiny plush tallboys, made by Let’s Be Friends, who also carried doll-sized Moleskines and messenger bags. Adorbs!

Turned out he was just sporting an ambitious leather fanny pack.

Fashionist spotted these “painfully well-worn leather chukkas” on Valencia Street and just couldn’t ignore them. That’s a whole lotta wear!
