   Ubers have picked up the bad habit from cab drivers of double parking anywhere they damn please to pick up a fare (if there’s a bike lane, that’s usually where they hang out).

     Indeed, it didn’t. Cabbies would just stop in the middle of the intersection like that, hear that I wanted to go to the Sunset, and then speed off without me.

       Did you ever try following them to see if they took your direction and went to the Sunset.
