It’s been regular open for a while now, and it rules, so whether you’ve been or you haven’t, attend this party (for festiveness and for a heap of killer last-minute gift ideas.) (They’ve got all manner of local and imported booze and beer, plus local and imported corner-store fare like soap and jam and candy.)
I wandered in there a few weeks ago, and there was a pleasing scent of bourbon when I walked in. Turns out their WHOLE WHISKEY shelf had fallen down. So many bottles of whiskies, all gone. So maybe buy one?
Not sure the Mission needs ANOTHER liquor store. I’ll pass.
Couple things. First, it was a liquor/convenience store before this, so, maybe it doesn’t count as “ANOTHER.” Second, it has stuff nobody else in the neighborhood has. Lots of unusual spirits. If I can get some weird thing here I’d otherwise have to drive to BevMo for, terrific. I don’t wanna lose my parking spot.
Third, it’s an overpriced douchemarket.
Everything is “an overpriced douchemarket”, according to the usual gang of idiots who comment here. Do you have anything new to add?
What the fuck do you care, guy? You will never set foot in this market.
No, and if you’re not a hypocritical asswipe, neither will you — so what do you care?
More and better liquor selection is always a good thing, as far as I’m concerned.
