One of the more interesting ironies in American history is that the city of Detroit, a.k.a. “Motown”, was destroyed by the automobile-centric way of life.
When I was very young, my parents both lived and ran a business in Detroit. They became part of the 1960′s mass exodus to the suburbs that was enabled by Detroit’s biggest industry…
Even more ironic,we are now a tech-centric culture, especially here in the Bay Area…what will our future be like with our biggest industry–tech?
