1960- The Roxie had Sunday Matinee Horror films for 25 cents. Place was packed full of neighborhood kids. On Saturday the Crown Theater had Horror Matinee (normally 2 movies) for 25 cents which eventually beat out the Roxie. I was one of those kids.
Sumiko’s Fireside Lounge – that had a real fireplace and a real Sumiko.
