It’s probably talking about an anarchist collective that shares the building with Thrift Town, and not Thrift Town itself.
What’s the point of commenting when you clearly didn’t even skim the post?
Is there something I’m missing here? The link from the Mission Mission Facebook page read “Thrift Town could possibly be razed, allegedly.” If that’s what you’re referencing.
Maybe I should specify that the activity that is supposedly “against the law” has to do with the tenants in the anarchist collective.
What does it matter? They both promote obsolete styles.

if so, my most frequented businesses aside from Duc Loi will be wiped from the Mission. Seriously – it’s not like I’ll ever be buying anything from one of the 20 identical artisan romanticized work wear boutiques on Valencia.

Maybe if more gay/white/clean/legal citizens move in, I’ll start coming to the Mission. Until then, I’ll keep my wallet in my front pocket, clutching my female companion, and reinforcing my bulletproof vest. Gentrification is only necessary when the current residents of the neighborhood don’t care enough to grow, change, improve and, I don’t know, occasionally power wash their neighborhood. Tolerance of all kinds of riff-raff, only tells the riff-raff that they can be opportunistically loiterous and piss-slinging do-nothings. Arrest the homeless, hose it down, and bulldoze what remains. Cesspool!
