When a MUNI bus breaks down and blocks the road, the obvious answer is to drive up on the sidewalk to go around it

Right? At least put that 4×4 power on your gas-guzzling SUV to use one time!

That pictures is old, the street on the other side is not painted. Also, that car looks parked!

Drove on Church this morning and it was a pain with the new red painted MUNI/Taxi Only lanes. There were of course some drivers that did not care for the new rules and drove on the new red lane. Someone at city hall should be fired for coming up with this unneeded disaster, they say this is to speed up the J-Church, how can one speed it up when it rarely even shows up?

The taxi/muni only lanes are a great idea, they just need to be enforced.

    • MrEricSir says:

So wait, you want the J to come faster, but you don’t want them to speed it up? WTF?

    • ABW says:

If you don’t like the red lanes, feel free to drive down one of the many other fine streets the city of San Francisco has that do not have Muni lines on them. May I be so bold as to recommend Dolores or even perhaps Sanchez? Both excellent choices, with not a whit of red painted MUNI/Taxi Only lanes on either of them.

So do Lyfts/Ubers et al get to ride in the taxis/buses only lanes?
