Perhaps there will be a lesson on how not to stand up front holding your phone up in the air obstructing everybody’s views of the band like a fucking idiot.
keep your camera in front of your face. fixed lens, about 50mm. open the aperture up. high iso helps. set shutter between dark and blurry. don’t stay in one place. be considerate of people that paid to watch. enjoy the show.
hold your phone above your head to block the view of everyone behind you. use digital zoom and flash. set hdr mode on. be aware of people that are in the mosh pit. enjoy the show through your phone’s 3 inch screen.
…then upload the resulting photo/video to your inexplicably popular neighborhood blog.
YESSSSS
pssssssssssh THIS GUY here with the money to afford a full sensor camera.
try 35mm if you are poor like the rest of the crop sensor world.
