Rocky told me about these mouse masks they had in the back of Foxy Lady on Mission St. Turns out the mask is an old Italian costume mask, pretty strange to find it in the dust of an old Erotic Boutique. I spent a week taking photographs of the mask in some situations I felt would contrast the intended purpose, my friends were thoroughly creeped out.

I like the anonymity this mask gives. It kind of became white noise to me somewhere throughout the roll and it was interesting to see photos of people without identifying them. A+ joshy!

cool photoshot with this creepy mask…it looks funny though how every person somehow changes the mask’s expression only by being different in gestures.
