That’s a very poor source. Occupy SF is using the exact same wording in their defense that Occupy Oakland uses when this happens. Rarely, if ever, are well known members of the movement known to engage in this sort of tactic. I personally know people who traveled from Oakland for this event and were very upset at how it turned out.
Further, the wording of this shows a lack of understanding. Before using the term Black Bloc, please read the Wikipedia article on it – and the Urban Dictionary definition(s) which refer to protests in SF over the past ten years.
