oh how original. i’ve lived almost my entire life in either northern or southern california. i have loved and been annoyed by both. sf people seem obsessed with talking smack about and looking down their noses at southern cal. really lame and cliche.
San Francisco’s definitely preoccupied with looking down on L.A., and L.A. just doesn’t really care enough to look down on San Francisco. But I guess I say this as someone who was picked on as a kid (by teachers, even) for saying “the 101.”
northern or southern california, either way, the real important issue is that californians are passive aggressive communicators and leave notes instead of addressing and issue in person AND there is usually a heart in the signature so the recipient of the note doesn’t feel offended by the request.
