Reminds me of those “PB&J” fries in Portland, made with satay sauce and raspberry-jalapeno jam. And those are great, so I bet this popsicle is too. Anybody snag one?

After I posted that pic I read the fine print, that it’s really ginger-bacon CARAMEL and vanilla egg CUSTARD, which sounds a lot more palatable. We got blueberry-lemon yogurt and strawberry lemonade-basil, which were delicious. The vendor is Fat Face Popsicles in Davis: http://www.fruitmeetsfun.com/
Good to see the correction chimp reads before she posts.
Good to see the poo-flingin’ monkey is keepin’ it real by flingin’ more poo.
I am drinking Monkey High Five right now Cranky.
Those mud popsicles I tried to sell to the neighbors when I was a kid sound appealing compared to this.
In case anyone actually wanted to know, the bacon and egg pops were completely delicious, in fact you have never had a popsicle this good before. The egg custard is sweet and rich like Ice cream, which by the way is mostly made of eggs, and the ginger caramelized bacon is an absolutely devine contrast to the custard it is encased in. If you have ever had ice cream with salty roasted pistacios, walnuts or macadamias in it, you should understand how good this could be. I hope some of you got to try the bacon and egg while it lasted!
