I always thought everybody at Vice basically hated SF, but a new photo essay by one of their own shows evidence of some reverence toward this city we all definitely love so much.
Night Fog Reader has the whole thing right here.

Actually, I think he hates the city just as much as I do.
he gets paid for those photos??
Thought the same thing.
These are his personal photos. If you take a look at his site, you can view his catalog of photos. Similar aesthetics. I didn’t pay him for these photos.
fuckkkk, I need to put out a book of my SF photos ASAP.
I like his shots though, the content is definitely there, framing aesthetics aside.
Rather pedestrian.
Old guy on scooter is cool, white bearded old guy rocks, but other than the Victorian most of this could be anywhere. How about some murals, circus performers in parks or hipsters eating non-taco bell tacos?
wow. mediocre photos. ironic.
yeah nice grain, amateur … I always thought VICE’s stupid writing was counterbalanced by their nice visuals. I stand corrected.
Everyone’s a fucking critic.
I am only a fucking critic when having sex.
