Really, I think the best solution for securing bikes is to carry a battery-powered drill/screwdriver and a handful of hardware with you everywhere, so you can attach your bike to any nearby wall. Extra credit if you invest in an impact drill, which would allow you to attach your bike to the sidewalk.
