But I bet all you anti-graffiti trolls are fine with it since it’s a big corporate-sanctioned corporate eyesore on a big privately owned owned thing.
I’m kidding mostly. Particularly if Hendrick’s is interested in sponsoring a popular hyperlocal blog or something.
Being that Hendrick’s is a hipster favorite you prob won’t get any complaints.
hipster or not, this pleases me.
is this how they do that? they project a screencap on to a wall, and then paint by numbers? thanks for demystifying how ads are made.
I like the guy on the right flipping the bird.
but have you seen the awesome one for superjail on 26th just off mission? it’s so rad i don’t even care that it’s an advertisement. oh and superjail rules!
Ummm…don’t we have a ban on new outdoor advertising in the Mission? How is Beauty Bar getting around that one?
I think it’s a ban on billboards (free standing ads), not on ads in general.
I’m sure there are plenty of storefronts with ads in the windows and Muni stops with ads on the stops, etc…
