I happen to walk by this spot a lot, and I’ve even made a post almost exactly like this one in past, but yesterday’s sunset was just too amazing to ignore. Couple this with our amazing summertime weather while the rest of the country is freezing over, and San Francisco once again solidifies its claim as the most jealousy-inducing location in the United States. Take that East coast!
Go watch your Superbowl, America. We’re gonna be outside ALL DAY.

Hey, your clouds match my clouds!
And the crazy part was the crescent moon was hiding behind the orange and red and came out soon after.
epic moon photo did not come out as well unfortunately!
I must inform u guys that most rich colors from SF sunsets are due to dust from the Gobi desert mixed with a large variety of industrial pollutants. SF sunsets from the 80s and early 90s were never this good, even on clear days. I read this either in the NYTimes or some other paper like a decade ago.
I forgot to mention the dust is from Chinese deforestation and the pollutants, well, they’re just from China.
