Looks like he could tip at any moment. BUT, he’s probably tearing ass down the mountain to perform surgery on an injured endangered silverback gigantopithecus, down in the valley. Right?
Ambulance was there. Cycle was on the ground. Bro cyclist was rushing through traffic to get to the scene and photograph it.
I’d've stuck around but I was trying to catch the sunset from atop Bernal Hill.
True story – Benny and his designer duds are saying goodbye to his eponymous retail store on 21st and Capp in mid-April in favor of a bigger, swankier spot somewhere on 16th. Straight from his website:
As much as we love our current store we have outgrown it in a short amount of time. I can’t wait to show you the new space! The store buildout is coming along nicely and we are set to move next month… it is going to be great! Thank you for all the support that has made this possible and we hope to see you at our grand opening party!
Two things: 1.) Pumped that he’s crushing it and that business is booming; great to see an SF local do big things, and 2.) Would it be appropriate if I wear my gold leggings to the opening? I’m thinking yes.
Previously:
It’s gonna go right here in front of Freewheel. Can’t wait!
SF Great Streets is pumped too, but thinks we should all learn some rules:
A new parklet is being built on Valencia and 20th in front of Freewheel Bike Shop in the Mission. And many more will be coming to neighborhoods throughout the city this Spring, Summer and Fall. The demand for parklets is huge.
With all of these new parklets coming to the city, you might be wondering what the rules are. Who can use them? What can’t they do? How do I get one for my neighborhood? How do I report misuse? Get the facts here, at the helpful FAQ we’ve put together.
Dang, we can’t drink on parklets. BUT, all the other rules and junk sound pretty good.
Can’t wait!

Mark your calendars! (And RSVP and invite your friends via the event’s official Facebook page.)
Do note that it’s at 111 Minna this time around. And do note that we’ll be giving away some tickets some time next week, so stay tuned!
In case you missed the epic Breezy Nix show at Amnesia last month, above is kind of how it looked, and below is kind of how it sounded (though the Amnesia show was a live set and this is a DJ set):

Look, I’m a cyclist, I usually despise motorists, but, this does sound fun. Your delivery would have to be pitch perfect though. Let’s all work on it and reconvene in a few weeks.
