It’s a man’s world, so break out the flannel and brush your beard this Thursday to hit up Unionmade‘s big boot debut. The rough-and-tumble mensware store is kicking off an brand new edition of Wolverine’s 1,000 mile boot with a workwear affair to rival a caber toss; but we know the real reason you’re going: the cocktails.
Great store.
Those boots look awesome!
And then I saw that they don’t come in my size, and I was sad.
And then I saw that they cost $725 (!) and I was agog.
The Alden Indy is a better value in my opinion. Will still run you about $400 though.
Ha Ha. Is joke by capitalist oppressor. Very funny. Fhuck you, yah.
That’s still more than twice what I would be willing to pay.
I wish this city had an inexpensive quality mens store. I’ll stick to thrifting, I guess.
I agree. I like the concept of Union Made, but 10x more expensive than workwear usually is. Out of my range for sure.
Yeah. I am absolutely willing to pay extra for products made in ethical & union shops. But I’m not willing to pay 10X as much.
I’m amazed at this blog’s endless promotion of overpriced consumer goods that nobody really needs. It’s a bummer to see this City follow the trend of people being defined by what they buy/own rather than what they do.
Everybody needs shoes. Just not $800 ones.
^yup
Why is this even posted on MM?
Unionmade is in the Castro district.
For that matter, why is an ad, er, “advertorial” on MM?
Free drinks, dummies!
Can’t argue with free drinks.
Hmm, look kina WW2 ish. Here is an option that is WAY cheaper. And I’d say looks even cooler…
