Lots of folks probably had the time of their lives. India did, and here she enumerates why:
-Was amazed by how much he sounds the same/how attractive I find a 68 year old man
-Probably ruined my vocal chords screaming
-Not like he could hear me, but he did wave a lot
-This is the closest I have ever been to a Beatle
-This is also the closest I have ever been to God
-When he sang “Two of Us” I screamed and wet myself because I want to walk down the aisle to that (I mean, apparently. I yelled that when they started playing it so it must be true).
I didn’t have a ticket, but I figured I would at least be able to listen to some classics played live, so I rode over around 9:30, right around when Paul went into the Beatles part of the set. On the south side of the stadium, the only thing blocking a decent view of the stage was a black plastic tarp tied across the fence, so I ripped that shit down and a decent crowd gathered. Security was so cool they even opened the inner fence that was also partially blocking the stage, so everyone gathered around had a totally unobstructed view of the stage for the last 9 or 10 songs (definitely a better view than upper deck inside the stadium!). It was a totally random mix of hippie burnouts, little kids, random yuppie types, etc, but everyone was loving it. Great show, and free, too!
hey I taped that too

ah well, all i can say I have better mics, but I was way up in the stands, so there’s more echo. I mean I like Sir Paul and everything but I’m not going to pay 550 bucks for a seat in row 16
would have been a great recording tho
btw, I had two extra tickets and sold them and got in for 20 bucks
