While it’s easy to label it murder because clearly Messerle killed Grant, looking at the law– which is what matters, ’cause it’s a legal proceeding– it looks like textbook involuntary manslaughter.
Still, I hope he gets a murder conviction so stupid people in Oakland don’t fuck up the city even more, ’cause it’s already pretty fucked up. Riots are not ways to enforce justice, they’re just stupid ways of acting out anger, which is reasonable to expect from so many stupid people.
