Reader Travis O. tells us, via our Facebook page, that something new is afoot on Valencia:
Did you see that Bombay Ice Cream now has an all you can eat indian buffet? It’s pretty good and only $7.95. The grand opening [was last week]. I got to meet the chef, she said the food is homestyle from the western side of the country. I am very excited! [link]
Us too! Bombay’s official website, on the other hand, has nothing to say about this news.
The previous food there used to be pretty bad…but it sat around a lot too, I think.
tried it over the weekend for dinner. food was alright. BUT, they charged us for lunch prices (sweet!) instead of dinner prices, so we were thinking this place was pretty sweet. Handed him the 4 dollars, then he had the balls to ask for 38 cents in tax! f*ck that place and the owner. their mistake, they should eat it.

The worst buffet I ever had in my entire life (including grade school!) was in Arkansas (with fried chicken).
[...] we going to find five year old bottles of tahini now? And what about that wonderfully inexpensive all-you-can-eat Indian buffet (and did any of you ever end up trying it)? I can only assume that Bi-Rite and Humphrey Slocum [...]
