if you strip off some of the lower branches, you can wave a burning Xmas tree around like the world’s most awesome torch….
One tree??? think bigger please…. the idea is to pile as many as you can, until the asphalt bubbles.
in fact the xmas trees they torched in my part of the mission bubbled the paint on some woman’s car. those things burn hot and fast.
Its traditional to burn the Christmas greenery in a bonfire on Epiphany, 1/6, or the 12th day of Christmas.
what? how did i miss this? i live right there!
I’m so conflicted about burning trees. It’s so pretty! And yet … super-bad for air quality. One tree’s not going to give anyone asthma I guess but combined with wood stoves and cars and all that other stuff that’s always going on, burning trees can really make people sick.
