I have no idea what the article is about because I don’t have the requisite patience to read a 6 page article / 1,466 words*, but Mission Loc@l has a pretty epic picture of Cafe Gratitude being all culty.

Previously on Mission Mission:
forming a religion based upon how much we dislike other religions…okay
If I could just get that ecstatic about vegan food, and then dance about it, my doctor would probably let me drop the Lipitor.
I read the article and there wasn’t really much substance to it– basically a personal description of a trust exercise and very little to back up everyone’s ‘Cult!’ fears… Landmark seems to just be a cheesy life affirmation group (yes, EST, blah, blah…). And as for the photo, I’d say less ‘Cult!’ and more just hippies dancing…
Oh, and I can’t help myself– Brien (with an ‘E’, of course); Rooni; Satori… dancing and affirming their being– geez, cliche…
It’s fine for Gratitude to encourage the use of these methods, but it’s not okay to demand employees pay their own hard-earned cash on Est. I won’t be going to their restaurant until they change their policy.
Toward beef, Drew? Same with me!
