You know those blue “ValPak” envelopes full of coupons that you never look at? Well, there is a buy-one-get-one-free slice of pizza in there this month. Fuck ya! Sure, the pizza is kinda nasty, but it’s free.

oh, them might be fightin’ words. EFNY is actually delicious. and closer than Arinel’s.
Arinell, Jeff. Arinell.
And no way dude.
I actually haven’t gotten a single Val-Pak envelope since moving to California over two years ago, and didn’t even notice. I just assumed Val-Pak didn’t have a presence here.
Now I just wonder what else I’ve been missing out on!
Went to Arinell cause of this very blog, and was disappointed. Di Bufala FTW.
I have no idea why Arinell’s is so popular. Has no-one here ever ordered a slice from Serrano’s? Made-to-order and by far the best. Huge double slice hot and fresh, bring it into Doc’s Clock and enjoy with your $2 PBR.
Serrano’s is delicious, but it takes like 30 minutes to get your slice.
Call it in ahead of time! It’s really only 30 minutes during peak times. Usually 10.
Serrano’s is okay but way too much bread.
I guess that’s part of what I like about it. The crust is delicious! Their calzones are pretty damn good as well.
arinell >> EFNY
however, i like both. as close to an NY slice (this side of lanesplitter) that i’ve found in the barea.
Nice! Thanks for the 411
Dude, it’s in there every month. My wife and I take the 24 home from the Castro regularly and bank on this coupon all the time.
that coupon has been in the ValPak for a few cycles now… since the 22nd/Valencia EFNY opened up. the pizza is decent, not terrible but not particularly yummy. A slice with a bunch of toppings on it is $4.
