Well, sadly, it IS funny. I wish that dog actually were in some sort of protection program from it’s former owners — the people who let it run around in an open park, off leash, at the mercy of every grifter, wack-job and hit-and-run driver in the neighborhood. Call me a dick all you want, but I watch over my dog like a father over his child.
We don’t agree about merely being off leash being a “they had it coming” offense, but either way, I just dont think taunting someone in a really nonspecific way about a lost pet is the best way to communicate your moral authority here.
