I had my birthday recently at the SF Croquet Club lawns in Stern Grove park (http://www.croquetworld.com/sfcc.html). For $15 each, you get a few hours of private instruction and play for 10+ people. For food, I hired a Tonayense taco truck (they sent the San Buena truck from Financial District, same company). It was great fun and a wonderful combo of croquet and tacos on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Patrick that sounds awesome. One question- what’s their policy on bringing in alcoholic beverages? I didn’t see anything about that on their site.
I had them cater our wedding rehearsal dinner. It was awesome. (Though that was with the old cool truck, not the new retina-searing colors.)
$650 dollars is totally worth a kick-ass rehearsal dinner.
I’m eating from that very truck at this very moment. These things are spicy!
