That is beautiful! Kalamazoo’s Finest! I have owned one for 12 years now, and they are terrific cars. Built like TANKS. They looked pretty much the same (with minor changes) from 1960 until they stopped making them in 1982.
The one you see above is an A12 Marathon, and all I can tell from those pictures is that it was made somewhere between 1969 and 1973.
That looks an awful lot like the Hindustan Ambassador. Compare with this photo, taken in India.

Actually, the civilian version of a checker cab is called a Marathon (if I remember correctly) A high school friend’s parents owned one.
