In two years of living in the Mission, I’ve actually seen this place open twice. I don’t know what crazy hours they keep, but I can’t imagine the food being worth it.
Or go at 8:30. All the talk about hipsters, I guarantee there are none at 8:30 AM.
I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why people line up for this mediocre place.
centrally located? i dunno, i’ve never been
what is the deal with that place? can somebody explain? do people like self inflicted pain?
. . . or go some place else for brunch
. . . or cook, Rainbow opens at 9 you bums!
yeah, try going somewhere else. the food’s not all that.
by the way other recommendations in the neighborhood which you might as well consider for the good quality of food and atmosphere:
-Maverick
-Universal Cafe
-foreign cinema….
good eats
I miss Pazaaz!
living across the street helps get you in faster. Also going on weekdays. The hours are 8 to 3pm, every day.
They got good veggie options and I like the coffee.
Foreign Cinema is pricey, douchey and kinda lame with breakfast. EXCEPT the bacon. I’d go there JUST for the bacon, which you have to order on the side anyway, but I digress…
St Francis, though owned by Bugaloos, has much better food.
and it’s across from pop’s
